Everything you need to know about booking services and running your business on YourWay.
YourWay is a Nigerian booking platform that connects customers with local service providers. Customers can discover, browse, and book services like haircuts, massages, facials, photography, and more. Service providers can list their business, manage bookings, and receive payments — all from one account.
YourWay currently operates in Nigeria. You can filter businesses by city: Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna, Nasarawa, and Ogun.
Services are grouped into 10 categories: Barbershop, Makeup, Massage & Wellness, Hair & Styling, Nails, Tattoo & Piercing, Fitness, Photography & Videography, Eyebrows & Lashes, and Facials & Skincare.
No — you can browse and discover businesses freely without an account. You only need to create an account when you're ready to book a service or list your business.
Go to the sign-up page and enter your email address, or continue with Google. If you're new, you'll fill in your name, phone number, and a password. You'll then receive a 6-digit OTP on your phone to verify your number, after which your account is created.
Yes. Tap 'Continue with Google' on the login page. If your Google account is new to YourWay, you'll be taken to a short sign-up form to complete your profile. Existing users are logged in immediately.
You need a Nigerian phone number (country code +234) to sign up. Your number is used to verify your identity via OTP.
Yes. On the login page, switch to the Phone tab, enter your number with the +234 country code, and enter your password.
On the login page, tap 'Forgot password?' and enter your phone number or email. An OTP will be sent to your phone. Once verified, you can set a new password. Your new password must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter and a number.
Go to the Discover page and search by keyword, or browse by category or city. Select a business, choose a service, then pick an available date and time slot. Review the appointment details and confirm your booking.
Payment depends on the business. Some businesses accept 'Pay at venue' (cash or card when you arrive), while others require online payment at the time of booking via Paystack. The available option is shown on the booking confirmation screen.
Yes! If a business accepts online payment, you'll see a 'Pay with wallet' option at checkout. Way Credits (your cashback balance) can be used to pay for bookings.
Way Credits are earned automatically — you receive 1% cashback on every completed booking. Credits never expire and can be used to pay for future services on YourWay.
Yes. Go to your dashboard, open the Bookings section, and select the booking you want to cancel. You'll be asked to provide a reason. Note that cancellation policies may vary by business. Paid bookings may be subject to the business's refund policy.
Bookings can have these statuses: Pending (awaiting business confirmation), Confirmed, Pending Payment (payment required to finalise), Completed, Cancelled, Rescheduled, or No Show.
No. Your YourWay account covers everything. Once you have an account, you can add your business directly from within it — no second sign-up needed. You can use the same account to both book services and manage your business.
After logging in, navigate to 'Add my business'. You'll enter your business name (minimum 5 characters), verify a business phone number via OTP, and optionally add a short description and select your service categories. Once submitted, your business profile is created and you can continue building it from your business dashboard.
From your business dashboard you can: add and manage services (with pricing and duration), set working hours, upload cover photos and a gallery (up to 8 photos), add team members, create discount codes, manage bookings, view client history, access analytics, and set up payout details.
Go to your business dashboard and open the Services section. Tap 'Add Service' and fill in the service name (minimum 5 characters), category, price in ₦, and duration in minutes. You can also add an optional description. Services can be edited or removed at any time.
Yes. In the Team section of your business dashboard, you can add team members with their name, phone, email, and role (e.g. 'Senior Stylist'). Team members can be assigned to specific services.
In Account Setup, you choose your payment method: 'Cash at venue' (customers pay when they arrive) or 'Online Payment' (customers pay through Paystack when they book). Earnings from online payments go into your YourWay wallet.
In the Payouts section of your business dashboard, you can request a payout from your wallet. The minimum payout amount is ₦5,000. Payouts are the processed by YourWay; you can track the status (pending, processing, completed, failed) in your payout history.
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification confirms your identity as a business owner. It unlocks a verified badge on your profile, access to higher payout limits, and the ability to enable No-Show Protection. Verification typically takes 1–3 business days.
You can verify using one of three documents: BVN (Bank Verification Number — 11 digits), NIN (National Identification Number — 11 digits), or CAC registration number (format: RC123456 for registered businesses).
No-Show Protection lets you charge customers a fee if they miss their appointment without cancelling. It requires KYC verification to activate and can be toggled on or off in the Account Setup section of your business dashboard.
Yes. The Discounts section lets you create percentage-based or fixed-amount discounts. You can set a promo code, date range, minimum purchase amount, maximum discount cap, and usage limits — all optional.
Go to your dashboard and open the Security section. Enter your current password, then your new password. It must be at least 8 characters and include an uppercase letter. Your new password must also match the confirm field.
In your dashboard, go to Payment Methods and tap 'Add Payment Method'. YourWay uses Paystack to securely save your card — a small dummy charge of ₦50 is made to validate the card and is not deducted from your account.

A verified badge means YourWay has confirmed certain information about a business. There are two tiers: a blue Verified badge (email and phone confirmed) and a green Fully Verified badge (email, phone, and identity/KYC confirmed). Fully Verified businesses have gone through a stricter vetting process.
To become Fully Verified, a business must verify their email address, verify their phone number, and submit identity documents (KYC) for review. Once all three checks are approved by the YourWay team, the business is granted the green Fully Verified badge.
The Performance Score is a data-driven measure of how reliably a business serves customers. It's built from four metrics: Acceptance Rate (how often the business accepts bookings), Completion Rate (how often booked sessions are completed), Cancellation Rate (how often bookings are cancelled), and On-Time Rate (how often services are delivered on time). You can see the full breakdown on a business's Trust tab.
The Reliability Score (0–100) is a weighted composite: Completion Rate counts for 40%, Acceptance Rate for 25%, No-Cancellation Rate for 20%, and Customer Rating for 15%. A score of 75+ is considered Highly Reliable (green), 50–74 is Moderately Reliable (amber), and below 50 is Building Reputation (red). Scores improve automatically as more bookings are completed.
No. To maintain the integrity of ratings on YourWay, only customers who have completed a booking with a business can leave a review. This prevents fake or unverified reviews from inflating scores.
Recent reviews carry more weight than older ones. Reviews from the last 30 days have 1.5× weight, reviews from the last 90 days have 1.2× weight, and older reviews have standard 1.0× weight. This ensures a business's current performance is reflected more accurately, and that older poor experiences don't unfairly penalise businesses that have improved.
